Dear Méav:
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I want to thank you...
You are such an amazing role model. I am thirteen years old, and all my friends are fans of the popular music over here, which is not really good music. I am more than thankful that I have your music to listen to when the world is giving me the mainstream pop culture. Your music has become my escape...Thank you so much, Méav. Also, thank you for being the link that has connected me with the many, many amazing friends I have met through the forum.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season, and that you are able to spend it with friends and family, enjoying the festivities of Christmas. I have been watching the Celtic Woman Christmas DVD for quite a while now...actaully since before Halloween... watching that DVD over and over again is something that has come to define the holiday season for me. This year, it's my goal to learn how to sing Silent Night in Irish.

Have a great holiday season!

Love always,
(AKA CandyGirl)
See you at Carnegie Hall in March!

Merry Christmas, Méav!

You must be having such a joyful season with your little girls and your family; I'm so happy for you!
I'm very much looking forward to seeing you at Carnegie Hall in March.

Much love,

Dearest Méav,

Once again this will be a wonderful Christmas for you!! A new family member will make it a memory to be cherished. I hope you and your family have a truly wonderful Christmas and the New Year brings nothing but happiness.

Méav, Thank you so much. I cannot wait to see you in Carnegie! You have been such a blessing to many people and I hope you have many more to come. Have a very Merry Christmas!

Dear Méav,

Thank once again for creating such incredibly wonderful music. It's been a constant source of inspiration for me these past few years!!
I hope you and your family have a joyous Christmas and New Year!

Dear Méav,

In February 2009, when I first heard you & the other members of Celtic Woman sing "You raise me up" on Youtube, I went out & bought 2 of the CW CD's & I have been truly blessed each time I listen to them. It's hard for me to imagine God blessing you & the others with such natural beauty & angelic voices as I've never seen to perform live in a concert & living in Durban SA I'm probably never going to. For me you stand out as the best of all. I want you to know that I pray every day for you & the current CW members that God will continue to watch over you, protect you & bless you. I'm positive if I never hear you sing here on Earth I will in Heaven one day, as I truly believe that you will be part of the Heavenly choir. Who knows, maybe even then God will bless me with a voice to sing alongside you in praise to Him.

I wish you & your family a very blessed & merry Christmas & a safe & properous new year in 2010.

Hi Méav,
Well its that time of the year again , and mate, does it come up fast, seems like I just paid of last years presents.I figure your tuning up the old voice box for a few Christmas Carols. Liv is already into it down here with a few Carols by Candle light nights booked in already. Down here because it gets so hot we have them out under the stars, some Carols nights are finished with Fireworks. Because we live on Lake Macquarie, we sometimes go to the Carols in our boat and anchor just of the parks where the Carols take place. Its a beautiful view from the water amongst all the other boats looking back towards all the Candles and the activities of the night onshore. Some nights we cruise between different locations if several Carols are on at the same time at different locations around the Lake. Oh by the way The Lake is quite large, about 12 klms, long, and around 4klms wide at the broadest sections. Its almost divided in half by the peninsular we live on Called "Wangi Wangi".........yeah, its a mouth full its actually pronounced "Won-gee" x 2. Its an Aboriginal word that describes the geography and means "Water Water" the inference is that the land has water either side. They actually call the Lake "Pulbah" (Pull- bah)....which means "large flat area".....not exactly how I would describe a lake, but hey they are the custodians so they can call it what they like.

So now you have had a little history and geography lesson, I want you and your family to know we will be thinking of you over there in chilly Ireland whilst we sink a few ice cold tinny's (cans of beer) and nibble on our chicken and salad for lunch before lighting the BBQ for Dinner followed by a few more tinny's, some prawns (shrimp if your American) followed by some time in the pool, lake or at the beach followed by some more tinny's followed by a large sleep, before starting the process over again the next day or two.........Now I know your thinking that's a weird way to spend Christmas........but we really top the weird charts by going to my Father in laws every Christmas eve when its 25 to 30 degrees Celsius at night and stand around the pianola and sing songs about "riding through the snow in a one horse open sleigh", "White Christmas" and "Frosty the snow man"..........weird hey!....or is it a subliminal form of cooling off.........the mind boggles.........anyway watch out for fat men with beards in Red, and don't walk behind the reindeer. I'm sure Santa puts something in the antelope food that makes them fly, so you don't want to be anywhere near the afterburner at the rear of the animal..........merry Christmas, Oh...............and don't forget to say happy birthday to Jesus, after all its all about him...........

love Skypilot and all the Grittens in Oz.

Hi Méav,
Hope your holidays are wonderful with your family - two little Santa "believers" will be so fun in your beautiful country. God bless your whole family.

I would like to wish you and your family a very blessed Christmas. I have all of your CD's and I listen to them all the time. I especially love your version of the Wexford Carol, it is my favorite song to hear during the Christmas season. I also had a chance to hear your work in the Tinker Bell movie. You sounded beautiful. Best wishes also for your performance at Carnegie Hall next year. It should be a very special night.

You are the best.

Dear Méav,

You have brought so much joy into my life since I first became your biggest fan last year. You are a sweet, kind, talented, funny, and beautiful person. I hope you have the best Christmas ever, and many more!!! I'm having trouble finding the right words to say to thank you for everything you've done for me.

For the past month or so, I have been writing a Christmas story called Angel of God's Children, and I named the main character after you. In the story, the main character is a true saint who does so much good for everyone she meets, and I believe that's exactly what you do. You're a healer and you bring so much joy to so many people. I thank God everyday that people as good and kind as you exist, and I look up to you so much. Even though I haven't met you, I still love you like a sister. You've had THAT big of an effect on my life. You've done so much for me this past year.

I have a song I would really love to dedicate to you. It's by another one of my ABSOLUTE favorite musical groups. The song is called The Way Old Friends Do by ABBA. I dedicate it to you from the heart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1d5UvSJ9nU

I also have an online journal where I write letters to you and every member (former and current) of Celtic Woman, telling you guys what's going on in my life and thanking you for everything. http://dearcelticwoman.xanga.com/

Merry Christmas Meav! I hope you have an AWESOME Christmas and New Year!!!!!

Dear Méav,

Congratulations on your second child...this will make a wonderful and joyous Holiday season for you and your family. I hope it is the best Christmas you have ever known. You are still my angel, whose voice, talent and beauty have saved my life. If I were God, all my angels would look, sound and be like you.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY NEW YEAR and may you have a joyous, joyful, peaceful, prosperous and healthy life.

Thank you.
God Bless.

I wanted to take this opportunity to extend to you my most sincere wishes for a very Merry Christmas, and a happy and prosperous New Year. I hope you and your family experience much love and joy this holiday season.

I hope You have a most Blessed Christmas surrounded by Your Family and Friends.
I am in hopes that You will Tour again in the U.S. (especially Fort Myers, Florida) Hey at least it will be WARM.

Best wishes to your shows coming up, and particularly your show in Carnegie Hall. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to join you and everyone there, but I'll be with you all in spirit. Dear Méav,

Your music is so beautiful and one of a kind. I fell in love with your rendition of "Dulaman" while you were in Celtic Woman. Now it is my favorite song and I canít stop listening to it. It seems like you enjoy what you do very much. You have such an amazing stage presence that I admire, and I could only hope to follow in your footsteps. I sing in choir at school and you have inspired me to try hard and love music. Your voice is such a blessing to hear. Please never stop making music. Good luck with everything and I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday.

Dearest Meav:

When counting our Christmas blessings, you naturally come to mind very quickly because of the joy you and your music have brought--and continue to bring us throughout the year! And of course, your appearance in A Christmas Celebration DVD will continue to be a favourite year-after-year! We know you have a special blessing this year called Catherine, who will occupy your Christmases for many years to come! Here's wishing a very Happy Christmas to you and yours from your many fans, who so hope to see more of you in the New Year!

Your voice is a blessing from heaven above and I so enjoy the gift you share with the world.

Hi Méav,

I found your first cd during a trip to New Orleans eight years ago, and immediately thereafter, found myself anxiously awaiting the next one. Your songs became the favorites that I returned to again and again; when I'm happy; to sing along with; or when I need to feel comforted, as if by an old friend. I hope you have found as much enjoyment in recording them, as I have in listening to them. Wishing you a very Happy Solstice, and a wonderful New Year.

Detroit(ish), Michigan, U.S.

Dear Méav,

I wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope that Catherine's first Christmas will be a very special and memorable one for your whole family!
Thank you for sharing your talents and so much of yourself with us. One of my favorite moments of all time in Christmas music is your incredibly high "Ding doooooong ding dong" harmony in Carol of the Bells, and I ALWAYS go back and watch that song about 10 times on the Christmas DVD!!! It is truly a privilege to be able to listen and watch you sing.

Have a wonderful holiday season with your family, as you certainly deserve it. Make sure there is lots of music involved! ;D

Dear Méav,
Hope you and yours have a most blessed Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
