Announcing Méav's
Official Fanclub

The CelticMéav fansite has gone through an exciting metamorphosis of late! From our inauspicious beginnings in 2005, being the first and original fansite dedicated to Méav and her music, we've experienced many changes and we were both humbled and honored recently when Méav selected us for yet another one - to host the new Official Méav Fanclub! The fanclub will be comprised of the existing CelticMeav fansite, The Lark newsletter, and a new official Méav fan forum being launched on our second anniversary this October 1st.

This is a new chapter in our journey with Méav, and a very exciting one at that! We hope to create a friendly, supportive, and inspiring community for Méav fans old and new around the world, providing them a place to get acquainted, hang out, interact and stay current on the latest Méav news and events.

Hi there! It’s hard to believe that this is the second anniversary of the Fansite – so much has happened so quickly. I met David and the girls in Dublin last week for a sneak preview of the Christmas Celebration DVD on the big screen and we had a blast. You might spot a few familiar faces in the audience and there are some lovely close-up shots of our choir and musicians too – it’s a really intimate performance. I hope you feel at home watching it. I have had so many great moments with Celtic Woman and I am relishing the opportunity of bringing you with me on this current journey of mine to share some new ones.

Sincerely yours, Méav

Méav in The Irish Examiner

Back in April there was a wonderful interview with Méav in The Irish Examiner, which we wanted to share with our readers. In it, Méav describes her most treasured possession: the heirloom piano her father gave her. To Méav, the piano represents her own life's musical history, as well as her father's. It's a wonderful read, and we know you'll enjoy it.
